This new learning experience will be structured, sociable and informative; you will be invited to join group classes run by your tutor where you can ask questions and share your work for feedback. However, if you would like to complete this course in your own time then you will have access to all step-by step films for 24 months and you can also book up to 5 hours one-to-one tutorial sessions with your tutor within the first 6 month period.
Tutor supported classes will consist of:

- Guidance on flowers to use
- Extra support on making the design
- Discussions on design development
- Q & A with your tutor
Once you have completed your design you will be able to share it with the class and your tutor for feedback and also upload an image to your classroom page.
Flower Package (for tutor supported classes only)
To compliment the tutor supported classes, we can organise a flower package that will be delivered to your door. Should you choose to add this and are based on mainland UK, you will receive all the flowers and foliage you need for the lesson with the addition of a few things you may have at home or able to collect on a walk, e.g pot plant, ivy and sticks. We don’t supply sundries, but we will give you a link to a wholesaler that you can buy direct.
Once you have fully completed the unit by uploading all images you will receive a British Academy of Floral Art certificate of completion.
Building towards a full level 2
This unit can be taken as a stand alone or used towards a full level 2 Academy qualification, and can be mixed with on-line and class based units. To fully achieve the level 2 you will be asked to attend a practical Mock and Exam, which will be held in Exeter.
Each tutor supported virtual lesson with you and your fellow students will be recorded and shared so that you can watch it back at any time over the 6 weeks, after this it will be deleted. This means that if you can’t make a lesson then you can catch up in your own time. Please note that in signing up for this course you agree that these class recordings can be shared with your fellow class members.
