We are thrilled to share our Academy Level One Online Flower Arranging course with you, and we hope you enjoy learning with us!
We will teach you the fundamental techniques and traditional styled designs that we adapt and use in everyday Floristry. It’s the perfect introduction to both the hobby of flower arranging and the world of commercial Floristry.
The course includes:
Downloadable booklet that is packed with information to back up the course. It gives you a detailed list of the flowers, foliage you need to buy and suggested garden alternatives. Plus a list of tools, how to condition the flowers and a poisonous and irritant plant list.
Introduction from Julie Collins (British Master Florist) and Tina Parkes (Dutch, American and British Master Florist)
Plant and Tool identification
Four step-by-step tutorials
You can make all four step-by-step designs over two days using the same flowers or choose to make the designs over a longer period if you prefer, as they each come with a separate buying list.
After completing each piece, take a photo of your work. Once you have images of all four of your designs, upload them to our site so we can see what you’ve made, and we’ll send you a certificate of completion. The course is available to use for up to 12 months.
If our introductory course leaves you as inspired – and encouraged – as we hope it will, you are going to want to develop your skills further. At the Academy, we have courses that can take you all the way from absolute beginner to Master Florist and even RHS Chelsea medalist!
Give Julie a call to find out more information about our courses, or see our beginner level two courses here.
Once you have purchased the course you just need to click “My Courses” at the top of the website and put in your username and password.
